Travis James, a seasoned Executive Managing Director at JLL, provides comprehensive real estate advisory and portfolio management services to a global client base. Along with an impressive career of over 18 years, Travis brings a strong strategic, tactical, and consultative approach to his client engagements. Specializing in Bay Area-wide transactions and managing global multi-market portfolios, particularly for technology companies, Travis effectively leverages the vast resources within JLL to benefit his clientele. In addition, Travis is the lead of the High-Growth Technology practice group based in San Francisco, a setup designed to meet the unique and flexible real estate needs of venture-backed technology firms.

Experience

Previously, Travis attended Stanford University, earning honors and playing integral roles on both the varsity soccer and football teams. Post graduation, Travis has directed high-profile transactions for Lyft, Atlassian, Square/Block, Pinterest, Verkada, Ripple, and Twitter amongst others, showcasing his ability to negotiate and manage large scale deals. Serving a diverse list of key clients such as Adroll/Nextroll, Lyft, Practice Fusion, and Twitter, Travis exhibits proficiency in client management. In addition, he has worked with respected venture capital clients, including Bain Capital, First Round Capital, and Greylock Partners. Travis’s extensive experience, his abilities, and solid education make him an asset in the real estate advisory domain.
