Thomas's market knowledge, combined with JLL's comprehensive resources, enables him to identify results-driven occupancy solutions including relocation strategies, lease renewals, expansions, dispositions, consolidations, and occupancy cost reductions. Recent notable transactions include securing a 12,000 SF headquarters lab space for an early-stage biotech startup and negotiating a 23,000 SF office lease for a quantitative hedge fund's New York City headquarters. Thomas plays an integral role in developing new business opportunities and enhancing JLL's market outreach while delivering comprehensive real estate solutions to his clients.
Prior to joining JLL, Thomas worked at Newmark in a real estate advisory capacity, serving as a tenant representative throughout the New York metropolitan area. Among several high-profile transactions, he represented Blue Matter Consulting, a leading strategic consulting firm serving the life sciences industry, in a headquarters lease at 909 Third Avenue. He also arranged a headquarters transaction on behalf of AbleTo, a virtual behavioral healthcare company, at 320 West 37th Street. Prior to his career in commercial real estate, Thomas served as an Assistant Vice President and Division Director at Robert Half International.
