Current responsibilities
Matthew serves as an Associate in JLL Houston’s Industrial Services Group, specializing in tenant representation. He excels in developing and executing strategic real estate solutions for his clients. Matthew’s core responsibilities encompass property marketing, client and property outreach, comprehensive market research, and meticulous lease due diligence. His expertise extends to both agency and tenant representation facets of brokerage, ensuring a seamless and efficient real estate transaction experience for landlords and clients alike.
Experience
Matthew’s professional experience includes internships with prominent organizations such as Cadence Bank, Texas Medical Center (TMC), Saddle Capital, and Transwestern. At Cadence Bank, as a Credit Analyst, he developed comprehensive overviews of commercial credit underwriting, adhering to lender regulations, and conducted in-depth financial analyses. During his time at TMC, Matthew worked directly under the President & Chief Executive Officer, gaining valuable insights into the planning and construction processes for the new TMC3 campus. He also played a key role in leasing the TMC Innovation building, where he addressed the specific needs of medical start-ups and implemented an innovative “incubator” process to support these emerging companies. Additionally, Matthew has honed his skills in budget management and lease financial analysis, further enhancing his expertise in the real estate sector.
Affiliations
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys playing golf, live music, and watching football. He also volunteers at Post Oak Little League, where he coaches a team with his peers. He is a member of the 2026 – 2027 CREDA Mentor Program.
