Marc Niese is currently the RegionalManager in the Great Lakes region. He is responsible for the Great Lakes office and industrial portfolios throughout Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, West Virginia, and western Pennsylvania. Marc assists his clients throughout the country on due diligence, acquisitions, transitions, and the strategic coordination and implementation of property management.
Marc has over 20 years of real estate experience. Prior to joining JLL in 2015, Marc was the IDI Logistics Real Estate Manager for the Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana markets. He was responsible for the day-to-day operations for the large IDI Logistics portfolio and the USAA portfolio. These portfolios consisted of over 8 million square feet of Industrial real estate. Marc’s responsibilities included but were not limited to day-to- day operations, financial performance and reporting, NOI optimization, construction management, customer relations and assistance with leasing and tenant retention efforts.
Prior to joining IDI Logistics, Marc was employed for 9 years as the Regional Property Manager with Regency Centers Corporation. With Regency Centers, Marc oversaw the operations of nearly 30 retail properties totaling over 3 million square feet throughout Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, and Missouri. He negotiated service contracts, lease renewals, short term leases, and occupancy agreements as well as managed capital improvements in excess of $10,000,000.
Education and Affiliations Marc holds a BBA from the University of Cincinnati where he majored in Real Estate and Operations Management and is also a licensed Ohio and Kentucky Real Estate Salesperson. He is actively involved in the Cincinnati commercial real estate community and is a member of NAIOP and the University of Cincinnati Real Estate Roundtable.
