Current Responsibilities
Kristen Mathis joined JLL’s DC agency leasing team in 2015 with a focus on Landlord representation in the Washington, DC office market. Kristen is currently involved in the marketing and leasing of approximately 20 million square feet of office space on behalf of third-party owners. Kristen’s depth of experience working in the Washington D.C. real estate market, attention to detail and commitment to excellence helps provide clients with outstanding service.
Experience
Kristen entered the real estate business in 2006 at CoStar Group researching and analyzing the Washington, DC market along with serving as the Washington, DC news editor reporting on recent sales, leases, trends and construction activity. She joined CBRE in 2008 and gained experience in landlord representation as well as tenant representation. Kristen’s primary focus has been Landlord representation, executing nearly 4.5 million square feet of lease transactions for a variety of ownerships.

Kristen was named as CREBA’s 2018 Rising Star of Real Estate.
Affiliations
Kristen is involved in the new JLL Maternity Mentor Program to help guide other women as they prepare to be out on leave and navigate their roles as they return. Additionally, Kristen is a former Protégé in JLL’s Mentor / Protégé Program and has continued her working relationship with a top Landlord representative in the company to further hone her skill set.
Education
Kristen graduated with a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Maryland.
