Henry Schaffer

Career summary

Henry is a Managing Director in the Boston office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. Having more than 12 years of industry experience, Henry joined JLL as part of the HFF acquisition. His primary responsibilities include debt and equity advisory for owners of multi-housing, retail, industrial and hotel properties. His experience includes marketing and structuring transactions such as construction financing, conventional permanent financing, bridge financing, mezzanine debt, preferred equity, and joint venture equity. Since joining JLL, Henry has been involved in over $6.0 billion in transactions.

Prior to joining HFF in July 2017, Henry was on the Originations team at CCRE, where he worked within the company’s CMBS originations platform. At CCRE, his responsibilities included sourcing fixed- and floating-rate loans, conducting all loan-level diligence and underwriting, and managing loans through credit and the closing process.
