Current Responsibilities
Carter is a Capital Markets professional specializing in Debt and Equity placement for Multifamily Housing in JLL’s Washington DC office. He is responsible for originating and executing transactions nationwide closing loans from as small as $1.4M to as large as $250M for a variety of clients.
Experience
Carter joined JLL in September 2021 and quickly climbed the ranks to Producer. Since joining the firm, he has originated and participated in debt and equity transactions representing more than $1.2 billion of total transaction volume. Prior to JLL, he worked at Newmark and Freddie Mac specializing in multifamily finance at both stops.

With his comprehensive experience and educational background, Carter brings valuable insights and skills to the multifamily housing finance sector, serving a wide range of clients across the country.
Carter holds a double major in finance and real estate from the University of South Carolina, where he graduated in 2017. He remains a proud supporter of Gamecock athletics.
