Career summary
Brett is a Senior Managing Director and co-head of the Boston office of JLL Capital Markets. He returned to JLL as part of the HFF acquisition and has 17 years of real estate experience. He has participated in the capitalization of a broad range of property types, including multi-housing, office, retail, hospitality, life science and mixed-use projects. His experience spans underwriting, structuring and marketing transactions such as construction financing, conventional permanent financing, bridge financing, mezzanine debt, preferred equity and joint venture equity. He focuses primarily on debt and equity placement transactions for all property types. Over the course of his career, he’s been involved in the underwriting and marketing of more than $10 billion in closed commercial real estate transactions.
Brett started with HFF in May 2012. Before that, he was a senior real estate analyst with JLL in Boston.
