Alex Lagemann is a Senior Managing Director at JLL, representing tenants in Silicon Valley and across the country. He advises companies ranging from emerging startups to Fortune 500 companies, helping them make smart, well-timed real estate decisions that align with broader business objectives.
EXPERIENCE
With nearly a decade of experience, Alex has completed more than 800 transactions totaling over 7 million square feet and $1.3 billion in deal value. Alex draws on JLL’s global platform while remaining highly hands-on, combining market insight, disciplined execution, and creative thinking to drive results. His background in technology, entertainment, and design informs a perspective rooted in careful analysis and resourcefulness, enabling effective problem-solving in complex transactions.
EDUCATION AND AFFILIATIONS
Alex earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. He attended on a full athletic scholarship as a Wide Receiver on the nationally ranked football team, earning three letters and Pac-10 All-Academic First Team honors from 2008 to 2011.

Alex has earned consistent recognition for performance and leadership, including ASVB Rookie of the Year (2018), multiple CoStar Power Broker awards (2019–2025), and Cushman & Wakefield’s #1 NorCal Rising Star (2021).
