Refinancing secured for South Charlotte active adult community

CHARLOTTE, Oct. 14, 2025 – JLL Capital Markets announced today that it has arranged the refinancing for Connery on Providence, a newly built 200-unit active adult multifamily community located in Charlotte, North Carolina.

JLL represented the sponsor, Proffitt Dixon Partners, in securing the loan through New York Life Insurance Company.

Connery on Providence is a luxury 55+ rental community located at 4520 Shady Stream Wy., nestled in South Charlotte’s prestigious Providence Road corridor. The property occupies a rare 12.75-acre infill site in one of the city’s most desirable and established submarkets.

Completed in 2023, Connery on Providence features one- and two-bedroom residences across four three-story buildings. Residents enjoy a curated living experience supported by an events coordinator who helps foster a vibrant and socially connected lifestyle. Property amenities include pickleball courts, a saltwater pool, a wellness and fitness center, spa facilities and concierge services. The community also offers a movie screening lounge, an overnight guest suite, demonstration kitchen and dog spa further enhance the resident experience.
