Experience

Prior to his current role at JLL, Mr. Geldzahler served as the Vice President of Real Estate at Bed Bath & Beyond for over two decades. During his tenure at the company, Mr. Geldzahler successfully managed the exponential growth of the company from under 100 stores to more than 1,500 stores of 9 different brands, covering over seven million square feet of industrial distribution space, office space, contact centers, and a data center throughout North America.

This impressive achievement under Mr. Geldzahler’s stewardship involved a complex and varied range of tasks including the identification, acquisition, development, and disposition of properties. His expertise also extends to the negotiation of sale and leaseback agreements on behalf of the organization.

Prior to his tenure at Bed Bath & Beyond, Mr. Geldzahler practiced real estate law in Philadelphia, PA, and Morristown, NJ, thereby providing him with a solid legal foundation for his subsequent roles in commercial property management and development.

Education

Mr. Geldzahler holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics & French Literature from Tufts University and a Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers School of Law - Newark. His academic background in law and economics laid a solid foundation for his exemplary career in the commercial real estate industry.
