Scott Homa

Scott Homa is Global Head of Office Research at JLL. In this role, Scott tracks and analyzes key economic and market fundamentals to provide insight and predictive intelligence to owners, investors and occupiers of commercial real estate.

Scott joined JLL in 2005 as a Research Associate focused on the Washington, DC, commercial office market and subsequently served as Director of Mid-Atlantic Research and Director of U.S. Office Research before assuming the role of Head of Americas Property Sectors Research in 2021. In that time, Scott led the production and distribution of analysis across real estate sectors, including market reports, economic overviews, industry trend analyses and issue-specific white papers. He and his team sourced and executed consulting assignments with private equity groups, REITs, investment banks, pension funds and corporate occupiers, providing expert market intelligence to drive informed real estate decisions and investment strategies.

In 2026, Scott was named Global Head of Office Research, where his responsibilities include strategic planning, technology integration and content development for JLL's largest business line.

Before joining JLL, Scott held a variety of positions in economics and finance, serving as a Research Clerk with the Department of Economic Analysis at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, a Venture Capital Analyst at MCG Capital and a Research Associate for a financial services consulting firm.

Scott’s work throughout his tenure at JLL has earned recognition from the American Marketing Association for Best Quantitative Research and his market insights have been regularly quoted in leading business publications, including The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Economist and various real estate trade publications.

Scott serves on the Board of Directors of the Global Workspace Association (GWA) and the Golden Triangle Business Improvement District.

Scott received a bachelor's degree in Finance, Cum Laude, from Georgetown University in 2003. He has served as an Adjunct Lecturer at Georgetown University’s Masters in Real Estate program and has been asked to testify before the United States Congress on matters related to federal real estate.
