Career summary
Sam is a Senior Director in the Chicago office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. He joined JLL as part of the HFF acquisition and has more than 15 years of experience in commercial real estate. He specializes in the disposition and recapitalization of office, life sciences, healthcare, and mixed-use investment properties throughout the Midwest region of the United States. Throughout the course of his career, he has been involved in transactions with a total value in excess of $7.5 billion.
Prior to joining HFF, Sam served as a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s Global Occupier Services team advising numerous Fortune 500 clients. He began his career at Grubb & Ellis where he was a member of one of the top tenant representation teams in Chicago.
Sam was the recipient of the Greater Chicago Food Depository Investment Broker of the Year Award in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2026, as well as the NAIOP Office Investment Transaction of the Year Award in 2020 and 2023.
