Current Responsibilities
As Managing Director in JLL's Sports & Entertainment group, Gus leads real estate development advisory services for professional sports teams. He provides strategic guidance on sports and entertainment venues, mixed-use developments, and public-private partnerships. Gus's expertise encompasses data-driven site selection, renovation assessments, programmatic design, public financing arrangements, economic impact forecasting, development feasibility studies, and investment analysis.
Experience
Gus is a sports and entertainment real estate specialist with over a decade of experience in the industry. He focuses on complex development projects in the sports venue and mixed-use sectors. Gus's proficiency in financial analysis, site selection, and structuring public-private partnerships has enabled him to successfully guide numerous high-profile projects for professional sports teams. He holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business and is a graduate of Jesuit College Preparatory School in Dallas, Texas. Gus is actively involved in his community, serving as a member of the Charlotte Sports Foundation, a volunteer youth football coach, and Fund a Cure Chair for Breakthrough T1D.
