NEW YORK, July 21, 2025 – JLL Design has a starring role in the first episode of the new FOX reality series, “The Fixer,” that aired on July 18, 2025. Hosted by business investor and entrepreneur Marcus Lemonis, “The Fixer” is focused on empowering new businesses across the U.S. to thrive.
In the two-hour series premiere, Lemonis calls on the expertise of JLL Design to rebrand New Jersey-based boutique fitness studio Perspirology, as the company looks to scale its dance-based exercise brand. Watch the full episode on FOX and stream on Hulu.
Led by Maureen Millard, Senior Vice President, Client Services and Diane Rambo, Senior Vice President, Creative, the JLL Design team reimagines Perspirology’s visual identity to lay foundations for long-term growth and market relevance. The team developed all aspects of the new identity, color palette, signage and environment, creating a new brand for Perspirology aimed at elevating consumers’ perception of the business to help fuel growth.
“A strong brand drives loyalty, brings in new members and helps you stand out in an incredibly crowded wellness market,” said Millard. “A strong and consistent brand isn’t just nice to have—it’s essential.”
Founded by professional dancer turned fitness expert Katy Fraggos and her husband Jason Yachanin in 2014, Perspirology offers a unique, technique-driven approach to fitness that is both effective and enjoyable. What began as a single studio in Sea Bright has grown into a passionate community rooted in the belief that fitness should be fun and sustainable. As the brand matured, Katy and Jason recognized the need to reinvent its identity and expand the business beyond its two locations–they knew they needed professional guidance to do it right.
In each episode, Lemonis meets with business owners whose companies are at a crossroads and who need to make impactful changes. Struggling with tough decisions and looking for direction, Lemonis will assess their prospects and ultimately choose businesses that he will invest in.
On the show, Lemonis–who has collaborated with JLL on all of his businesses, introduced the couple to Millard and Rambo as they unveiled the reimagined Perspirology experience with a three-ring concept centered around the company’s three disciplines of bounce, dance, sculpt.
JLL incorporated the new brand identity across Perspirology, from the spatial layout to the customer experience, designing gyms that feel modern, energized and aligned with the brand’s promise. By redesigning everything from signage and finishes to lighting, circulation and member touchpoints, they ensure every location speaks with one compelling voice.
“For a growing business, great design communicates who you are, where you’re going and why people should be part of the journey,” added Rambo. “Creating a new identity for Perspirology was about capturing the energy, philosophy and community spirit that sets the brand apart. Every element, from typography to spatial graphics, was designed to reflect movement, strength, heat and inclusivity. We were honored that Marcus chose us to help build a strong, thoughtful brand for Perspirology and thrilled to teach them how it can help them on the next stage of their business journey.”
Social interaction and fostering community are critical in good design. Recent JLL research found that a top design trend for 2025 is people-centric design, focusing on the role of the built environments for experience, wellbeing and social interaction.
