JLL secures refinancing for AC Hotel Vancouver Waterfront

• JLL's Hotels & Hospitality Group secured refinancing for the 150-key AC Hotel Vancouver Waterfront in Vancouver, Washington

• Developed and self-managed by Vesta Hospitality, the hotel opened in 2022 as the first completed project within the Port of Vancouver USA's Terminal 1 waterfront redevelopment

• The seven-story hotel features meeting space, structured parking, wellness amenities and a destination restaurant within Vancouver's growing waterfront district

PHOENIX, Oct. 8, 2026 – JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group announced today that it has arranged refinancing for the AC Hotel Vancouver Waterfront, a 150-key, seven-story upscale hotel located at 333 W. Columbia Way in Vancouver, Washington.

JLL worked on behalf of the borrower, Vesta Hospitality, to secure a three-year loan with two one-year extension options.

Opened in June 2022, the AC Hotel Vancouver Waterfront was developed by Vesta Hospitality and was the first completed project within the Port of Vancouver USA's Terminal 1 waterfront redevelopment. The hotel is positioned along the Columbia River waterfront within a Qualified Opportunity Zone and operates on a ground lease with the Port. The Marriott-branded property features 150 guestrooms, 11,720 square feet of meeting space, an outdoor amenity deck, structured parking, a fitness center, spa and wellness facilities and Ondus, a Pacific Northwest Mediterranean restaurant that opened in 2025. The asset is self-managed by Vesta Hospitality, a Vancouver-based hotel owner, developer and operator founded in 1996.

The property sits within Terminal 1, a mixed-use waterfront destination that is transforming Vancouver's historic riverfront into a dynamic district featuring office, hospitality, residential, retail and public gathering spaces. The hotel benefits from immediate access to Interstate 5 and is minutes from downtown Portland, Portland International Airport and major regional attractions. The surrounding area continues to attract significant public and private investment, including office developments, public waterfront improvements and planned retail and entertainment destinations that further enhance the district's appeal.

Vancouver has emerged as a growing economic center within the Portland-Vancouver metropolitan area, supported by a diverse employment base spanning technology, healthcare, advanced manufacturing, logistics and professional services. Continued investment along the waterfront and throughout downtown Vancouver has further elevated the city's profile as a destination for both business and leisure travelers.
