JLL appoints Mark Gibson as Country CEO, US

• Mark Gibson, currently CEO of Capital Markets Americas, has been appointed to the newly created role of Country CEO, U.S., effective immediately.
• Gibson will lead a U.S. Executive Committee, focused on ensuring clients benefit from the full depth and breadth of JLL’s capabilities with every engagement.
• The appointment supports "Deepen Client Relationships," one of the six imperatives of Accelerate 2030, JLL's multi-year strategy.
• Kevin MacKenzie, currently President of Capital Markets Americas, will assume the role of CEO Capital Markets, Americas effective January 1, 2027.

Chicago, Oct. 14, 2026 — JLL today announced the appointment of Mark Gibson to the newly created role of Country CEO, U.S. As part of this remit, Gibson will lead a U.S. Executive Committee focused on ensuring clients benefit from the full depth and breadth of JLL’s capabilities each time they engage. The firm also today announced that Kevin MacKenzie will step into the role of CEO, Capital Markets, Americas when Gibson fully transitions to his new role, effective January 1, 2027.

The creation of this role is part of the execution of Accelerate 2030, JLL's multi-year strategy, and its "Deepen Client Relationships" imperative. The U.S. Executive Committee will serve clients based on a deep understanding of their strategic objectives and use JLL’s technology-enabled platform and proprietary data to deliver leading insights.

Gibson has been CEO of Capital Markets Americas for seven years and will remain in that role through the end of 2026 to ensure a smooth transition. Prior to his current role, Mark was the CEO of HFF, Inc., which he led until 2019 when it was acquired by JLL.

Kevin has been with HFF and JLL since 2004, progressing through several facets of the Capital Markets business. He became President of Capital Markets Americas and joined the Global Capital Markets Board on January 1, 2025.

Clients want fewer, deeper, more strategic partners. JLL's business lines have the expertise to be that partner, and the Country CEO U.S. role makes working across business lines more seamless. It follows the country CEO model JLL already uses in its other major geographies.
