Monica Vargas

My mother-growing up in a single parent home with her daily actions an example, she always demonstrated to me that everything is possible if you set a vision, work hard for it, and have a positive "can-do" attitude even when the tough times or obstacles arise. Up to this day this has been key for me both in my personal and professional career, working hard to achieve my ambitions and when difficult times come energize me to take a deep breath, shift gears and make it happen.

Because I strongly believe that every person has different and unique talents, skills and ideas that when you combine and leverage them, extraordinary outcomes are achieved, and huge value is generated. Being inclusive as a natural way of working is a priority for me.

By actively participating in the Women’s Business Network Business Resource Group and other forums where I can share my story, learnings that hopefully can inspire other women in the company. Also via coaching and mentoring; having the opportunity to interact with other women that may be starting their career at JLL or willing to continue to achieve their ambitions in JLL and provide guidance and share valuable tips and feedback that at some point in time I have been privilege to get via different successful women and men in JLL that marked very positive my journey.
