Candidates reviewed by the hiring team will be evaluated based on a variety of factors, including relevant skills and experience, full candidate profile, and interviews.
Q. How does this AI screening solution work?
AI screening technology evaluates the qualifications and experience provided in your job application against the specific
requirements and preferences outlined for the role applied. A grade is then generated (ranging from A to D) that indicates how closely the job application matches the job description. This grade helps our hiring teams quickly identify candidates whose profiles most closely match the requirements for the specific role and other job opportunities at JLL, enabling our hiring teams to prioritize outreach and provide faster responses. The grade is determined by considering factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, and qualifications indicated on the job description.
Q. What do the grades mean? Am I being ranked against other candidates?
No, you're not being ranked against other candidates. Each grade reflects the match between your job application and requirements of the specific job description.
A or B grades indicate that a job application matches all required qualifications and most or all preferred qualifications.
C or D grades indicate that a job application is missing some required or preferred qualifications.
Qualifications indicated in a job description are not weighted, only those indicated as required or preferred are distinguished.
These grades help our hiring teams work more efficiently by quickly understanding how job applications match job requirements—they don't determine hiring decisions or compare one job application to another.
Q. What information does the AI screening solution use to evaluate candidates?
The solution only uses information directly provided on a resume/CV and questionnaires responses provided on a specific job application.
To generate a grade, the AI technology analyzes:
- Work experience
- Education
- Skills and certifications
- Location
For the sole purpose of ensuring sufficient representation in the algorithm training data and conducting regular accuracy and bias evaluation over the model, information about your legal gender and ethnicity/race, if provided, is also used. This evaluation is not done at an individual level, but in a pseudonymized and anonymized manner.
Q: If I apply to a different position at JLL, will my previous grade also be considered?
No, grades are position specific. When you apply to a new role, your job application is evaluated based on the information provided on that job application. A grade is assigned based on match to that specific position.
Q. Can I opt out of the AI screening solution? Will this affect my job opportunities at JLL?
Yes, you can choose to opt out of AI screening by choosing “No, I do not consent to the use of AI on this job application.” Opting out will not disadvantage your candidacy in any way. Our hiring teams will review your job application and decide the appropriate next step.
Q. Will the AI do anything with my application beyond matching it to the job I applied for?
Yes, our AI system also identifies potential matches between your profile and future job opportunities. If you've previously applied with us and want to continue being considered, the system will automatically match your profile against new openings as they become available, ensuring you're considered for relevant positions even if you haven't specifically applied for them.
