- Investment opportunities (e.g. high returns, guaranteed profit schemes);
- Employment offers, often requesting a “processing” fee.
- Brokerage fee sharing.
In many cases, victims are directed to transfer funds to personal accounts under false pretenses such as unlocking access to surveys, upgrading accounts, or gaining access to exclusive deals.

- Offer full or part-time work via messaging apps;
- Request payments through WhatsApp, Telegram, or similar platforms.
