Career Summary

Kristi Childers joins JLL after 9 years in corporate commercial real estate where she grew and managed a portfolio of over 35 properties and 500,000 sf of office space in Northern California. Kristi has been passionate about working with innovative growth companies, with an expertise in tough tech, clean tech and early stage advanced manufacturing companies. This expertise has helped her to scale companies from their first R&D site to mass scale manufacturing. She leads the East Bay Innovation team and has helped both tenants and landlord’s navigate the changing needs of this industry sector.

Education and affiliations

Kristi earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA where she majored in Political Science and Public Policy.

Kristi is a native of Oakland and actively involved in the Oakland Metro community. She is a Berkeley Startup Cluster Advisor, Activate partner and serves on the Board of Sidney Paige.

Kristi was born and raised in the East Bay where she lives with her husband and 4 boys.
