Current Responsibilities:
As an Executive Vice President and Head of Americas Hotel Asset Management for Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels & Hospitality Group, Katie Krieger leads service delivery across Canada, Mexico, the United States, and the Caribbean. She directs teams managing portfolios of premier hospitality brands including Hilton, Marriott, Accor, and Hyatt, overseeing a diverse range of conventions, urban core, and resort properties.
Experience:
Prior to joining JLL, Katie spent five years working in hotel acquisitions and development at both Solid Rock Group and Pillar Hotels & Resorts (prior to their acquisition by Aimbridge Hospitality). Katie was directly involved in nearly $1B in transactions during her time working in hotel acquisitions.
Katie began her professional career with Tishman Hotel Corporation where she spent three years focused on asset management of the 1,218-room Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk. Her responsibilities included reporting, ad hoc analysis, and capital project management (in excess of $15M during her employment).
In addition to the aforementioned professional work experience, Katie served in various hotel operations positions including housekeeping, front office, and food & beverage.
Education and Affiliations:
Katie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Business from Michigan State University with a Real Estate and Development Specialization. Katie is a member of the Real Estate Advisory Council at Michigan State University and the Hotel Asset Management Association (HAMA).
