About
Alex Staikos is a Director in the New York office of JLL Capital Markets. He joined JLL as part of the HFF acquisition and has over 10 years of experience in commercial real estate finance. He is focused on debt and equity placement transactions across all commercial property types with a particular expertise in highly structured transactions and construction financing. During his time at JLL, he has closed more than $11.9 billion of commercial real estate transactions.
Alex serves a wide variety of institutional and entrepreneurial clients on a national scale. Alex works across the capital stack to secure financing solutions for all product types, including retail, multi-housing, industrial, office, and alternative asset classes.
Transaction volumes range in size from $10 million to more than $1 billion in total capitalization, while assignments range in profile from complex joint venture equity placement to core long-term financing. Alex currently serves as a YMBA Board Member, where he supports the professional development and career growth of young executives in the real estate finance industry. Prior to JLL/HFF, Alex was with Cushman and Wakefield, formerly Massey Knakal Realty Services. Alex has a B.S. in Finance and Real Estate from Boston University’s Questrom School of Management.
