TerraPower Isotopes Anchors 250,000 Square-foot Built-to-Suite Manufacturing Facility at The Bellwether District in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA - April 23, 2026 – JLL announces today, TerraPower Isotopes (TPI) leased a 250,000 square-foot built-to-suit manufacturing facility to support the development of cancer-fighting drugs at The Bellwether District. At 1,300 acres, The Bellwether District is a reimagined former energy refinery developed by HRP Group into a state-of-the-art campus that delivers global infrastructure, world-class talent and an unrivaled consumer base in south and southwest Philadelphia.

TPI's new cGMP Bellwether Laboratory in South Philadelphia will serve as the company's flagship production facility, increasing manufacturing capacity 20-fold and positioning TPI as the premier global distributor of actinium-225 for cancer treatments. TPI conducted an extensive national search before choosing The Bellwether District, assessing more than 350 potential sites across the United States and completing 49 site visits in eight metropolitan areas.

The Bellwether District is comprised of nearly two percent of Philadelphia's total landmass. The 1,300-acre site is strategically positioned less than three miles from Center City, Philadelphia International Airport, I-95 and I-76 – and within five miles of PhilaPort – with direct connectivity to existing rail and maritime infrastructure. Under HRP's vision, the former industrial site is being reborn as a global model of sustainable development and design. There are two sections of the campus – the Innovation Campus and the Industrial Campus.
