JLL welcomes Marion Jones to New York Capital Markets team

NEW YORK, May 12, 2021 — JLL announced today that it has hired 17-year industry veteran Marion Jones as a Managing Director with the firm’s New York Capital Markets team.

Jones, a former Managing Director with a top commercial real estate firm, has closed $9 billion in investment sales and capital market transactions, and has deep experience in both the institutional and middle-market arenas. She will work with Andrew Scandalios, Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of the New York office, as well as Bob Knakal, Co-Head of the New York office.

Jones previously co-led a team of professionals providing investment sales and advisory services at a variety of top NYC real estate firms. She is acknowledged for her deal-making, underwriting, presentation and communication skills, and for her ability to develop and execute strategy.

Jones is a member of the Urban Land Institute’s New York District Council Management Committee and Chair of the organization’s Women’s Leadership Initiative. She serves on the membership committee for New York Women Executives in Real Estate and as Board Member and volunteer for Phipps Neighborhoods.

Jones graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Arts; from the University of Pennsylvania with a Master of Architecture and received a graduate certificate in real estate finance and development from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She was named by Bisnow as a New York City Power Woman, and by Globest.com as a Woman of Influence.
