JLL Hotels & Hospitality expands Miami investment sales advisory team

MIAMI, July 21, 2021 – JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group announced today that Senior Vice President Christopher Exler has joined the Americas team, based in its Miami office. Exler has spent the last eight years in the London office of JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group covering the UK, Benelux, and Central and Eastern European markets. Exler also worked closely with cross-border capital looking to invest in Europe.
In his new role in the Americas, Exler will focus on hotel investment sales advisory transactions in the Southeast and Caribbean, working hand in hand with the team in Miami and the Global Hotel Desk, JLL Hotels & Hospitality’s cross-border investment sales division. Exler, who has more than 10 years of hospitality experience, began his career as an Analyst for Horwath HTL Cape Town and London after graduating from Hotelschool The Hague in The Netherlands.

According to JLL Research, Europe has been the main foreign investor in the U.S. as a proportion of total cross border investment in 2020 and first half of 2021 with a particular focus on Sun Belt markets.
