Newly formed precision dermatology company DermTech LLC signs lease for new headquarters and lab in San Diego, California
SAN DIEGO, June 27, 2025 – JLL announced today that it has represented newly formed DermTech, LLC, a leader in precision dermatology offering non-invasive skin genomics solutions, in a new 28,869-square-foot lease at 12340 El Camino Real in San Diego, California. DermTech, LLC will use the space for its headquarters and laboratory.
“DermTech, LLC will use its optimized facilities to continue to offer superior customer support and serve dermatologists and their patients nationwide with its non-invasive melanoma rule-out test, the DermTech Melanoma Test,” said Burkhard Jansen, MD, President of DermTech, LLC. “This cost-effective precision dermatology solution is well positioned to revolutionize how clinicians manage pigmented skin lesions or moles suspicious for melanoma. We are particularly pleased with our state-of-the-art molecular laboratory located at Kilroy’s Del Mar Corporate Center in the Del Mar Heights neighborhood of San Diego.”
JLL’s Grant Schoneman, Chad Urie, Taylor DeBerry and Stephanie MacLeod represented DermTech LLC in the lease. The landlord, Kilroy Realty, was represented by Brett Ward, Michael Cassolato and Evan Cassolato of Cushman & Wakefield.
