DENVER, Colo., March 21, 2023 – With the continued growth of the construction industry, JLL announced today McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. signed a 13,000-square-foot lease at One Platte, a newly developed 250,402-square-foot office building located at 1701 Platte Street in Denver, Colorado. The new space represents an expansion and relocation in the market.
McCarthy has been a part of the Colorado construction landscape since the mid-1970s when it constructed McKee Medical Center in Loveland. Since that time, the team has provided innovative solutions to complex design and construction challenges on more than $2 billion worth of projects throughout the state.
“As we continue to expand our Colorado footprint, it was important for us to not only identify a conducive space but also deepen our roots in the downtown area,” said Joe Brunsman, senior vice president and Colorado business unit leader for McCarthy. “One Platte is well-located near restaurants and amenities with excellent access to public transit and walking and biking trails. This reflects our commitment to our people, our clients, and the Front Range.”
The building also features a capacious rooftop deck with views of the downtown skyline, additional outdoor spaces, as well as on-site fitness, conferencing centers, and a secure bike storage.
JLL’s David Shirazi, Janessa Biller and Scott Wetzel represented McCarthy Building Companies in the lease. The landlord, Shorenstein, was represented by Newmark.
