James leads Leasing Advisory in the UK, a multi disciplinary team covering Agency Leasing, Tenant Representation, Lease Advisory, Planning & Rating. The team covers the commercial sectors, Offices, Industrial & Logistics, Retail and Science and Innovation space in London and the regions through a network of 11 offices.
James has worked as an advisor in the agency, leasing and tenant representation market for over 30 years. He led JLL’s South East Office agency team from 2010 to 2022 specialising in the Greater London, Thames Valley and knowledge sector geographies of Oxford & Cambridge.
He has worked with many global occupiers, investors, developers and public sector clients which has given him an excellent strategic insight. He has delivered numerous pre-lets and complex leasing and acquisition projects. He is able to translate occupier requirements to work alongside what investors need to maximise value and secure results.
James has a detailed knowledge of office specification and how this is evolving to satisfy changing occupier requirements. A key plank of this advice is sustainability which is embedded throughout the Leasing Advisory business line.
