Since the end of 2021, the vacancy rate has dropped from 5.8% to the current 2.6% as of the end of Q2 2024.
The demand for offices in prime locations remains strong. The availability in the city of Zug is particularly scarce, with only 1.0% of the stock being available.
In the medium term, some relief is expected. By early 2026, approximately 16,000 sqm will become available in Baar and Cham. In addition, new developments in Rotkreuz, Baar, Cham and Zug, will be completed by 2026/2027.
