Hotel Sector in Geneva & Zurich

In June, the Zurich hotel industry recorded the highest room occupancy and room rates in the last 15 years. In Geneva, occupancy was measurably higher in the first six months of 2024 compared to the same period of the previous year, but still 6% lower than in 2019. For the tourism year 2024, BAK Economics is forecasting significantly stronger growth in cities compared to the Alpine regions.
