Luca Giangolini

Luca Giangolini is a real estate corporate finance professional with over 25 years experience. He is a Senior Director in the Debt and Structured finance team at JLL. Previously he was a shareholder at CAPRA Global Partners and an Equity Partner at Cushman & Wakefield where he headed the EMEA Corporate Finance business.

He has strong and broad relationships with real estate investors and lenders across Europe. He has closed transactions on assets in the UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Spain, the Nordics, the US and China. During his career, Luca has gained expertise in:

- Preferred equity and JV structuring

- Fund concept, formation and delivery

- Fund equity raising and investor relations

- Real estate M&A and LBO financing

Luca led a team that raised over €975m of equity for two UK core plus property funds on behalf of Legal & General. He has raised equity for other fund vehicles in the UK, Germany, France, the Nordics and China, and overall has secured over €11bn of debt and equity capital for various real estate investment vehicles and projects.

Luca has closed over 100 debt finance transactions during his career with 42 different lenders. This includes leading the real estate and financing advice for two major retail sector LBOs totaling over €1.5bn of secured debt, an £820m central London portfolio refinance in 2023, and a £515m central London portfolio refinance in 2024, and a £780m UK portfolio refinance in 2025.
