JLL Vietnam HeartBeat 2019: From Heart to Heart
Vietnam, 23 Oct 2019 – On October 19th 2019, JLL staff and their family members embarked on a short trip to Can Gio to visit Can Thanh Special School and surrounding families. The trip was the outcome of JLL annual charity activities, this year in collaboration with the People’s Committee of Can Gio, which seeks to to leverage the hardships faced by students and families in Can Thanh, a remote district in Can Gio.
Within the first week of launching, the campaign was met with immense support from staff in the Head Office as well as all JLL managed sites. Apart from private sponsorships and monetary donations from our colleagues, little packages filled with coloring books, comic books and student notebooks were delivered to the Head Office by young family members of our staff.
By the end of the donation process, the organizers achieved the goal of 200 gift packages for disadvantaged students and families, with 5 computer sets for Can Thanh Special School. The JLL HeartBeat 2019 is the second charity campaign fully organized by JLL Vietnam, one that shows our concrete commitment to Building a Better Tomorrow.
