JLL bolsters capital markets team in Singapore

SINGAPORE, 4 October 2022 – JLL is strengthening its capital markets team in Singapore with two new appointments: Terry Wong, Senior Director, Capital Markets, JLL Singapore, and Alaric Yeo, Senior Manager, Capital Markets, JLL Singapore. Broadening JLL’s sectoral coverage and investment sales capabilities in Singapore, Terry Wong will be responsible for clients looking to expand investments and offerings in the dynamic mid-market space in Singapore. These assets include, but are not limited to, shophouses, strata commercial properties, and mid-sized commercial buildings.

In his new role, Terry will maintain and expand a network of investors and operators, as well as assist in the execution of complex advisory mandates, to drive growth in this strategic sector for JLL. Leveraging on his expertise, Terry will connect Singapore investors to cross-border investment opportunities and will facilitate capital flows into the city state from overseas investors. He will report to Ting Lim, Head of Capital Markets, Singapore, and will partner with a broader team of professionals both locally and regionally.

Terry brings over a decade of experience within the real estate industry with a proven track record in managing transactions within consultancy firms and private equity real estate funds. He started his career as a property valuer within the valuation advisory team of DTZ (now known as Edmund Tie & Co.). In his most recent role, Terry was part of the Business Development team of Q Investment Partners (QIP), a private equity firm based in Singapore, where he spearheaded fund-raising activities through identifying and generating both local and overseas leads. 

Joining Terry’s team is Alaric, whose primary responsibility is to provide acquisition and divestment advisory to clients on mid-market commercial investment transactions. 

Alaric has over nine years of experience in the real estate industry, with an established track record in handling capital markets transactions. He has been directly involved in the successful brokerage of investment deals in excess of S$1.3 billion in transaction value. Prior to joining JLL, Alaric has had previous stints with roles focused on the advisory of residential and commercial en-bloc redevelopment projects as well as in corporate residential leasing and expat relocation.
