Who is a female inspiration/role model to you and why?
I find daily inspiration from my 7-year-old daughter. Her open-armed approach to life reminds me to be filled with hope, not worry, stay optimistic, not to despair, and feel the excitement, not regret!
There are life lessons to be learnt from childlike tolerance, honesty and courage. She fills me with these emotions and so much joy and inspiration.
Why does inclusion matter to you?
Inclusion matters because it shows more than anything else that you CARE - about people’s emotions, wellbeing and growth. Above all, it shows that differences don’t matter if you can harness complementary synergies and bring them together. This will emerge as the true differentiator in any organisation’s culture.
How are you inspiring women to achieve their ambitions at JLL?
Be honest to yourself and others, and place integrity above everything else. I have learnt from my colleagues and managers at JLL that you succeed when people around you succeed – so learn not to always put yourself first. Most importantly, as much as we try, we can’t always do everything – it’s ok to ask for help sometimes! It only makes you more human!
