Alan McKay

With 25 years of project and development services experience across the UK, Middle East and Asia Pacific, Alan is a senior leader specialising in developments, workplace transformation, capital works, multi-site rollout programmes, complex project delivery, and growing high-performing teams. Currently serving as Managing Director, Project & Development Services for Australia and New Zealand, he leads one of the largest multi disciplinary project management businesses in the region across corporate occupier, public sector, and institutional client portfolios, with responsibility for business strategy, commercial performance, client relationships, and talent and capability.

Alan has held progressively senior roles at JLL since 2007, joining the firm in London before relocating to Australia in 2009 to lead delivery on major financial institution accounts including Westpac and ANZ. He was appointed Head of PDS, Victoria and Tasmania in 2015, where he led the business through a sustained period of growth, before assuming his current position as Managing Director, PDS ANZ (2024-present).

Alan is a member of the JLL Australia Country Board, contributing to the firm's overall strategic direction across all business lines.

Alan specialises in growing high-performing project management, design, advisory and construction delivery teams, building diverse senior leadership pipelines, and partnering with clients on complex, multi-year capital programmes. He holds a Senior Executive MBA from Melbourne Business School, a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with honours from the University of Tasmania, and is a member of The Australian Institute of Company Directors.
