JLL's latest report examines the Middle East and Africa flexible workspace market at a pivotal moment of transformation. Despite fundamental shifts in workplace dynamics driven by artificial intelligence and evolving work models, over 90% of the region's corporate real estate portfolios remain committed to traditional long-term leases.
The report explores the growing disconnect between the need for portfolio agility and current market practice. With fewer than 5% of global corporations allocating more than 10% of their portfolios to flexible space, and more than 40% allocating one per cent or less, the adoption gap remains significant.
As uncertainty around optimal workforce composition and spatial requirements intensifies, this report provides commercial real estate stakeholders with critical insights to rethink workspace strategy and navigate the evolving landscape across the Middle East and Africa.
