Top Tips:
Application form:
These questions are based around your motivations for joining us and the specific pathway applied for, our values and when you have displayed these and a time when you have been adaptive or creative with an approach.
- do your research on JLL, the pathway you are applying for and our values. Think about what you can bring to us and this role and how it aligns with your ambitions.
Useful links:
- When answering the application questions use the STAR technique: What the Situation was, the Task at hand, the Action YOU took and the Result. Think of examples beforehand and take your time to answer.
- Check for any Grammatical or spelling errors before submitting your application.
Pymetrics self-recorded competency-based video interview:
These questions are based around your Analytical skills, DEI, adaptability & organisation.
- Be yourself & display positive body language- remember to smile
- Speaking using notes as a prompt is fine but try not to read work for word from a document as we want to see you and how you can speak freely to show you understand the topic you are speaking about.
- Use the SMART technique again as above when answering the questions.
- Think of examples in advance on when you have had to be adaptive, organised, and analytical and the importance of DEI so you can be prepared. If possible, try and use different scenarios from the ones used in the application form so we can see how you have dealt with a wide range of situations.
In person assessment centre
- Be yourself and let your true personality shine, we are looking for multiple skills and personalities to join us.
- Remain professional and friendly throughout the day as you will engage with members of the business and the wider group throughout the whole day such as on entering the building and during down times.
- You will be shared the presentation topic in advance of the day so take your time completing this, so you don’t feel rushed.
- Do your research again on the role and us and come with a couple of strong questions to ask the assessors at the end of your interview.
