Matthew Singleton

​​​​​Matthew is an Executive Director with JLL and has full business accountability for residential and commercial valuation service delivery and operations in Australia. He drives business initiatives and innovation to differentiate JLL’s services, while building and leading a highly engaged team.

Matthew has over 20 years’ experience, having entered the valuation industry in 2003 after a successful eight-year career in retail management. He joined the valuation team in 2004 and conducted valuations of numerous asset classes, with a strong emphasis on residential, commercial and industrial sectors.

Matthew was appointed Valuation Manager in 2008, then SA/NT State Manager in 2011, where he was responsible for managing the SA/NT residential valuation operations. He relocated to Victoria in mid-2012 and was appointed VIC/SA/TAS State Manager before being appointed Head of Residential in 2014. His role was expanded in 2024 to also include Head of Metro Commercial, and in 2025 he was appointed to his current role of Head of Lending and Advisory Australia.

Matthew has in excess of 15 years' experience managing and leading valuation businesses in Australia.

Throughout his career, Matthew has completed expert witness reports; valuations for purposes such as feasibility analysis, mortgage security, family law, and capital gains tax; and managed asset valuation projects for government, corporate, private, and institutional clients.

He is an active member of the Australian Property Institute (API), conducts professional interviews for RPV and CPV applicants, and mentors students enrolled in property studies at university.
