JLL adds ‘big four’ consultancy experience with EMEA Growth & Innovation Lead appointment
Russell McMillan has joined JLL in a newly created role as Growth & Innovation Lead. The strategic addition is part of the firm’s evolving global strategy and enhances its existing capabilities within the EMEA region.
With 25 years of ‘Big 4’ consulting experience, McMillan will be responsible for driving growth and innovation across Consulting, Lease Administration and Transaction Management, with a focus on account integration and cross-practice collaboration, in addition to cultivating strong client relationships. Based in London, McMillan reports to Lee Daniels, Global Growth & Innovation Lead.
“We are excited to welcome Russell to the business,” said Daniels. “An accomplished analytical leader and outcome-focused problem solver, he has continuously driven revenue growth through innovative solutions and strong client relationships. His appointment brings extensive knowledge of the market to our team which will be invaluable as we expand our business and deliver exceptional client outcomes.”
Throughout his career, McMillan has built an exceptional track record advising corporate occupiers, investors, and developers across complex real estate challenges. Most recently leading Deloitte’s Private Sector Occupiers business whilst serving as a Partner at Deloitte, he also brings extensive senior leadership experience from his tenure at HSBC as Interim CFO of the Corporate Real Estate function, along with previous consultancy positions at PwC and Cushman & Wakefield.
“I joined JLL because of the firm’s ability to execute strategies which, in today’s world, is where the true value for clients lies. At JLL we have a fantastic platform, great people and an exceptional client base, to drive real growth for the business, which is incredibly exciting,” explained McMillan. He concluded, “A massive part of my role will involve spending time with clients, understanding what challenges they face and connecting them to the right people to help deliver on their operational objectives in a way that drives noticeable change.”
