France Logistics Market Dynamics, Q4 2024

Despite an active Q4 (730,000 sq m), 2024 take-up in the French warehouse market reached 3 million sq m, down -23% y-o-y. The market suffers from longer decision-making processes and re-evaluation of business needs in a climate of financial cost control. 

With a wait-and-see stance being taken, some projects have been postponed or cancelled, thereby reducing transactional activity in 2024: 166 transactions were recorded in 2024 compared with 248 last year (-33%).

There was a slight year-on-year increase in prime rents in most markets.
