Current Responsibilities

As Executive Director in the UK & EMEA Capital Markets team, Tim leads retail and leisure real estate transactions throughout the United Kingdom & EMEA. He serves on several key boards, including the UK Senior Management team, UK Capital Markets Board, European Client Strategy Board, and European Retail & Leisure Board. Tim oversees signature deals and portfolio investment transactions, with a particular focus on retail and leisure placemaking and thought leadership in the industry.

Tim Vallance is a retail and leisure real estate expert with over 30 years of experience in the UK and European markets. He specializes in buying and selling retail and leisure investment properties, having transacted over £7 billion in assets throughout his career. Tim's expertise spans retail & leisure leasing, development, and investment. He has led significant portfolio transactions for major clients such as LandSec, LXB, House of Fraser, Debenhams and Sainsbury's. Tim's thought leadership contributions include key reports such as "Redefining Retail Places" (2014) and "The Retail Equation" (2017), which examined the future of retail growth and sustainability. Tim was President of REVO (formerly the British Council of Shopping Centres) and was Chairman of Japan House.
