As Executive Director and Head of EMEA Corporate Capital Markets at JLL, Nick Compton leads a team specialising in helping corporate and private equity business owners generate value from assets through monetization. He oversees various transaction types, including sale and leasebacks, joint ventures, and surplus asset sales across the EMEA region. Nick's expertise spans both generic and specialist property types, with a particular focus on working with Private Equity investors and multinationals in the energy, automotive, defence, pharmaceutical, TMT, and personal care sectors.
Experience
Nick Compton is a real estate expert with over 30 years of industry experience, including 20 years specifically focused on corporate monetization and net-lease transactions. Nick has led numerous significant asset projects across the EMEA region and beyond. His track record includes high-profile transactions such as KPMG's Canary Wharf UK head office sale and leaseback, multiple global sale and leasebacks for BP raising over €1bn, and various sale and leaseback deals for companies like Pfizer, Equinor, Shell, VW and Cisco. He has executed multiple global portfolio transactions for companies owned by Private Equity clients including Apollo, TPG, Bain and BC Partners.
