Current Responsibilities
With over a decade of experience in the hospitality sector, Andrew serves as the Head of Operator Selection for the UK and Ireland within JLL's Hotels & Hospitality Group in EMEA. He manages multiple operator search and selection processes for hotel developments across the UK and Ireland. This allows him to maintain a unique market overview and engage daily with international hotel operators. Andrew’s expertise includes advising clients on hotel developments and investments throughout the EMEA region, negotiating hotel contracts, acquisitions, disposals, and providing strategic advisory services. His experience encompasses many properties, from budget hotels to major mixed-use resorts and prime city center hotels.
Experience
Andrew's career in hospitality and real estate has been diverse and impactful. He joined JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group in London in 2024. Before that, he was responsible for the development activities at Radisson Hotel Group, where he sourced new projects and executed the growth strategy across the UK and Ireland. Additionally, Andrew worked at Gerald Eve, focusing on Hotels and Extended Stay properties. He began his career at Goldman Sachs in Real Estate.
Andrew holds a BSc in Management Science from Loughborough University and an MSc in Real Estate from Cass Business School. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a registered valuer, reflecting his commitment to professional excellence in the real estate sector.
Throughout his career, Andrew has been involved in numerous significant deals, including operator selections for high-profile properties like Oberoi Brook Street in London, the development of Radisson hotels at various locations such as Twickenham Stadium, Oxford United FC, Edgbaston Cricket Ground, and providing strategic advisory services for luxury properties like The Peninsula in London.
