LONDON, 04 September 2024 – JLL’s Energy and Infrastructure Advisory team acted as exclusive sell-side M&A advisor to Lightsource bp, a global leader in the development and management of solar energy projects, on its sale of an operational 49.9MW solar PV + 25MW co-located BESS project.
Following a competitive process, Schroders Greencoat acquired the project, which is one of the largest operational co-located projects in the UK, while Lightsource bp will be retained to undertake the Operations & Maintenance and Asset Management.
The completion of this sale marks the 3rd successful transaction conducted by JLL for Lightsource bp, following the sale of two UK solar PV portfolios in 2021 and 2022.
