Matthew Haycox

Matthew is Head of Affordable Housing Development Consultancy at JLL, advising developers on their affordable housing obligations from the initial underwrite / land acquisition, through the planning process, all the way to securing affordable housing delivery via an RP partner.

Matthew has over 20 years’ experience in the residential development market, with a specialism in financial viability, affordable housing, grant funding and S.106 / package deal transactions. Matthew's team has a national remit and have worked on notable development and regeneration schemes in both London and the regions across the UK.

Recent projects have included:

• Advising L.B. Newham on viability matters for London largest Estate Regeneration scheme, the Carpenters Estate, which will deliver over 2,000 new homes;
• The sale of over 300 S.106 affordable homes within the Wembley Park Masterplan on behalf of Quintain;
• On behalf of Ebbsfleet Development Corporation, reviewing the viability of the 6,500 home Whitecliffe Masterplan;
• Advising both Developers and the GLA on various applications for grant funding to support delivery of additional affordable homes.
