Barbara Cominelli is Chief Executive Officer of JLL Italy. As CEO, she leads JLL’s strategic growth in the Italian market, strengthening its position as a leader in technology and data within real estate.
With a strong background in digital transformation, marketing, and operations, Barbara brings a wealth of experience in driving innovation and business growth across multiple industries.
Prior to joining JLL, Barbara served as Chief Operating Officer and Marketing & Operations Director at Microsoft Italy. In this role, she was instrumental in shaping and executing Microsoft Italy’s growth strategy, with a particular focus on digital transformation, innovation and sustainability. Her leadership contributed significantly to the advancement of digital initiatives that supported Italian businesses and institutions.
Before her tenure at Microsoft, Barbara was Director of Digital, Commercial Operations, and Wholesale at Vodafone Italy, where she spearheaded the company’s transformation journey. Her efforts focused on digital innovation, enhancing customer experience, fostering agility, and promoting an entrepreneurial mindset within the organization. She has also held leadership positions in the industrial, venture capital and consulting sectors, both in Italy and internationally.
Throughout her career, Barbara has been widely recognized for her contributions to digital transformation, operational excellence and customer experience. She has received multiple industry awards and has been twice named among the Top 50 Most Inspirational Women in Technology in Europe. A passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion, she actively participates in non-profit initiatives that focus on talent development and people growth.
Barbara is committed to leveraging JLL’s global expertise in technology and sustainability to reshape the future of real estate. She views innovation as a key driver in redefining cities, workplaces and lifestyles in an era of unprecedented change.
She holds a master’s in business administration from Universitá Bocconi, a master’s in International Management from CEMS, and an MSc in International Business from the Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University.
