Saudi Arabia's tourism sector demonstrated strong visitor growth in the first half of 2025, with inbound tourist arrivals reaching 14.3 million visitors. Notably, the domestic market contributed significantly to overall activity, with 46.6 million domestic tourists representing a 3% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
This surge in visitor arrivals demonstrates the Kingdom's growing appeal as a tourism destination and reflects the success of ongoing infrastructure investments and diversification efforts aligned with Vision 2030 objectives.
Tourism spending performance was particularly robust during this period, with inbound tourism generating an estimated SAR 90.5 billion in expenditure. Domestic tourism spending showed similar growth patterns, reaching SAR 70.9 billion and marking a significant 16% growth Y-o-Y, reflecting enhanced consumer confidence and elevated spending power within the Kingdom's tourism economy.
