His expertise has shaped the foundation's procedures, viewpoints, and many of IFMA’s sustainability practice training materials.

What began as a personal commitment from Teicholz has evolved into a global scholarship program now awarded to recipients across 40 countries, supporting sustainability professionals worldwide. A critical aspect of the program is its reach beyond countries with strong institutional sustainability campaigns, actively developing leaders in regions where formal sustainability focus has been historically limited.

At the heart of this program is IFMA's Sustainable Facility Professional (SFP) credential—an assessment-based certificate program that equips facility management professionals with specialized sustainability expertise.

The scholarship provides free tuition for students and young professionals pursuing this valuable credential.
