The global food processing giant partnered with JLL's Design Solutions team to create a Singapore office that focuses on employee well-being, fosters collaboration, and incorporate sustainable design features, reflecting their belief in the health of the planet.
A culture rooted in health and wellness
A leading nutrition-focused food and beverage producer, the client's belief in the health of the planet and its people has guided their business and culture.
When it came time to design their new Singapore office, the global leader in health foods needed to work with a design partner who understood the importance of sustainability at the workplace and could help them bring their people-centric vision to life.
A key focus for their new office space was employee wellness. Balancing the design across the company’s many brands – from bottled water to dairy and plant-based products – also presented a challenge.
Beyond aesthetics, the forward-thinking organisation sought to move away from a traditional office layout to an open, agile space that fosters collaboration and connection, which would ultimately empower them to attract and keep the best talent in the business.
Empowering employees with the right office features
The JLL Design Solutions team had to ensure that the workplace catered to employees with diverse work styles, so they have what they need to achieve their tasks for the day.
With a larger number of employees expected to return to the office, it was also important for the office layout to be flexible to accommodate for evolving space requirements, while fostering the client’s culture of collaboration through communal and social zones.
The design team utilised modular furniture that can be easily reconfigured to suit different work styles and activities. These flexible spaces could accommodate any event from formal townhall gatherings to quick and casual discussions.
